The B.S. in Information Technology program will help you gain the combined technical, managerial, and organizational skills information technology employers seek. Study the information systems essential to virtually all organizations, participate in hands-on lab activities that encourage collaboration and problem-solving, and take the opportunity to learn to use resources to satisfy current and anticipated IT needs. In this concentration you will: study ways to design, implement, and maintain computer-network operations; examine the selection, installation, and maintenance of computer hardware and software; explore the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of active network equipment; and focus on security and fault-tolerance in networks for secure and reliable performance.
