Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification provides a comprehensive introduction to implementing Cisco routers in computer networks. Cisco routers are industry standard devices that connect computers in local area networks to the Internet. Students will learn to identify the major components of a computer system, define basic computer and networking terminology and describe the benefits and functions of the Open Systems International (OSI) reference model. Students will gain the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to install, configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers. CCNA-certified professionals are in great demand in the computer industry today.
