Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy
Touro University Worldwide (TUW) is proud to offer a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy fully online. This program emphasizes treating couples, families and the family as a system; examining present-day problems as opposed to historical issues; and understanding interpersonal relationships to recognize and treat mental health problems.
This 60 semester credits program consists of 20 courses that include two practicum courses that are 150 hours each (each course is 3 semester credits). Graduates of the program may qualify to apply for the MFT licensure in many states. MFT Licensure depends on individual state requirements. Students should check for the full course and clinical practicum hours required for the state they plan to apply for licensure before starting the program.
TUW’s tuition is $500 per credit. Each eight-week, three-credit course costs $1,500. This program consists of 20 courses, for a total tuition cost of $30,000. Tuition assistance program (TAP) scholarships and student loans may be available. Your employer may also help with tuition costs. Ask a tuition assistance counselor if you qualify.
