Shorter University?s online Bachelor of Science in Human Services program helps students make a difference in the lives of others and their community and also helps students acquire the knowledge and skills they need to develop as professionals in the human services industry. The degree prepares students for positions within clinics, hospitals, government agencies, nonprofits and other organizations that assist at-risk populations. Students will gain an understanding of the human developmental process and will learn to use their diagnostic skills to analyze and to manage behavioral issues. Students will also gain an understanding of global and domestic problems, cross-cultural differences, diversity and the ethical responsibilities of their profession.
