The Leadership Studies certificate equips students with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to understand concepts associated with leadership in a variety of individual, organizational and community settings as they are applied in today’s dynamic, global society.

This certificate provides a forward-thinking education that is grounded in leadership theory, leadership research and the skill set required to work effectively in multiple contexts. In addition, the program encourages self-awareness as a Leader, reflective professional practice and social responsibility.

Quality and Convenience:
The certificate’s primary objective is to develop hands-on skills to help students improve job performance. Curriculum continues to evolve in response to the changing roles and responsibilities that challenge aspiring and current leaders. The certificate requires completion of 15 credit hours (five courses). All courses are offered in a seven–week, accelerated format; the certificate may be completed in six to nine months.
