Students enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts in Education program receive hands-on, experiential training through student teaching requirements.
The licensure program meets the National Association for the Education for Young Children (NAEYC) initial accreditation standards, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) standards and the requirements for ECE licensure in Ohio. Students enrolled in the licensure program must pass the Praxis II Education of Young Children exam and the Principles of Learning and Teaching exam for prekindergarten through third grade.
Online Course Outline: Students enrolled in the ECE licensure program must complete a variety of general education and professional education core courses.
Admission Requirements: To apply for Notre Dame College, students must complete an application for undergraduate admission. Include an official high school transcript and an official ACT or SAT I score report.
