The Professional Studies Certificate presents students with a complete music background focused on musicality, technique and theory.

Skills: The core of the Professional Studies Certificate is private studio instruction, performance, composition, music-in-education, contemporary improvisation, music for media and music technology. NEC offers all instruments including voice, composition, classical guitar, jazz and conducting. Students also gain a firm understanding of music theory, history and technological resources and tools necessary for being a musician in the 21st century.

Quality and convenience: The Professional Studies Certificate is designed to allow working professionals and musicians to complete their studies when their schedule permits. Experienced instructors facilitate courses to ensure students receive feedback and instruction.

Courses currently offered online can apply to the Professional Studies Certificate depending on concentration.
