Master of Education – Curriculum and Instruction
The Master of Education program at King University has an emphasis on curriculum and instruction. The program is designed to develop teacher candidates into highly qualified educators that excel as classroom teachers. Students will learn to synthesize research and theory, as well as practice and apply those skills through observations and field work.
M.Ed with Teacher Licensure
Applicants of the M.Ed with Teacher Licensure will decide on whether they want to teach in the K-6, K-12, or 7-12 classroom. An academic advisor will work closely with candidates to help them choose the area that is the best fit for them, and to create a customized curriculum that includes the appropriate courses necessary to achieve licensure. The M.ED at King is a five semester program, but in some cases, applicants may need to take additional courses to complete the requirements for the area they choose to teach.
