About Gratz College/RTC
Online Program for K-12 Teachers
Gratz College, located in the Philadelphia suburb of Melrose Park, was founded in 1895 and offers graduate degrees to meet the needs of working professionals.
Gratz College has partnered with Regional Training Center (RTC) since 1992 to offer graduate professional development coursework and the Master of Arts in Education (MAED) degree to certified K-12 teachers on-campus and throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland at off-campus sites.
Gratz College and Regional Training Center also offer teacher education courses online. Gratz/RTC online courses are degree applicable and may be utilized by teachers towards their MAED degree, for Pennsylvania Act 48, Maryland APC certification and/or for advancement on their salary guide.

For teachers interested in obtaining a 30-credit MAED degree or in earning graduate professional development credits from Gratz /RTC, taking courses now is even more convenient. Some of the required and concentration courses are now available both online and face-to-face for added convenience.
Teachers can take online courses through Gratz/RTC from the convenience of their homes and apply them to their degree program, please check with your advisor.

In addition, the master’s degree and the courses have been endorsed by the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA).
