Program Description

The Master in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program helps students learn and create methods of therapies and intervention. These methods will be an asset in career fields that range from therapy to the rehabilitation of emotional and mental disorders. Our students to become mental health professionals who are trained to assist hurting people in and help them through the healing process. Students will also be scripturally grounded, professionally skilled, and interpersonally competent as they work in faith-based and secular mental health agencies.

The online Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree program was designed for those who wish to enter the mental health field. Students completing the 62-hour are prepared and qualified to begin the process of obtaining their License in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC). Students may also use the degree to continue their education and pursue a doctorate level degree in counseling. This program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Programs.

Program Requirements

All candidates must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00. Other requirements include: completing the application for admission and submitting Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores.
